waves

Taking photos of waves was never something I had really thought of until the summer of 2025. I was originally more focused on the things on or around the waves, such as surfers, seals and other sea life. Only recently did I see waves as the amazing subject that they are, and started to take photographs of them.

So far, this album consists of photographs taken around Godrevy and Kynance Cove in Cornwall at the tail end of storm Erin during the summer. The storm gave us waves up to 30 feet tall (summer is an unusual time of year to get such large waves).

This is something that I will continue to revisit, and build up more of a portfolio of work with waves.
